What is the vaginal ring? The vaginal ring is a small, flexible ring that you place into your vagina once a month to prevent pregnancy. The ring is simple to place in and one size fits most women. The ring contains hormones called estrogen and progestin. These are the same hormones that are in most birth control pills. How effective is the vaginal ring? If always used correctly, less than 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant apiece year using the ring. If not always used correctly, 8 out of 100 women will get pregnant apiece year using the ring. When you first begin using the ring, it takes several days to begin working. Be sure to use backup birth control (like a condom) for the first seven days. How does it work? The hormones in the vaginal ring keep your ovaries from releasing eggs and thicken your cervical mucus to block sperm from getting into the uterus. Insert the ring into your vagina. The ring stays in place for three weeks straight. You take it out the fourth week and you have your period. After the week off, you simply insert a new ring and begin the cycle again. If you want to, you can skip the one week break and keep the ring in for four weeks straight. This will eventually make your period very light or disappear totally. This is called continuous-use contraception. If you are interested in this option, speak to your health care provider. The ring can sometimes start out of the vagina when removing a tampon, going to the bathroom, or having sex. Most women wear the ring

The Algorithm Method is a new Birth Control System Zarbod invented. Music Styx – Mr Roboto What? OK. If you don’t comprehend this one I’ll explain it. They rhythm method is a low tech way to prevent babies. So the “Algorithm method” sounds similar but…is different. An algorithm is a step by step method to do something. In artificial intelligence stuff, I use an algorithm which uses a gradient descent approach. It’s basically has an equation rewrite itself until it guesses the right answer. Mine uses hyperbolic tangents but there are other methods. Anyway speaking to girls about this stuff usually turns them off except for my friend “Math Girl.” What else. Oh, I’d like to make fembots who are smart enough to pass a Turing test. A Turing test is where a mortal speaks on the phone to another mortal and a computer. If he can’t tell which one the personal was then it passes. So that would be nice for a fembot. CGI boids are Personal Generated Imagery Boids. A boid is an independent character which I use to simulate a mortal or animal. A group of boids can be monitored with custom designed metrics to see how they collectively behave. This is related to things like collective intelligence or emergent behavior. Any questions?
