New claims of British war crimes in Iraq
New disclosures about war crimes committed by British army in Iraq are out. A British soldier titled Donald Payne revealed some of the crimes committed by the British soldiers against Iraqi civilians. Payne reported that some troops frequently punched and kicked prisoners. He has himself admitted to setting an Iraqi boy on fire out of what he called a misguided loyalty. According to the associated press, Payne was reported to claim that he didnt disclose some of the worst crimes committed against Iraqis, in order to save reputation of his regiment and army. Words are not enough to describe the irony in the fact that all of this was done in the study of freedom and democracy.
Researchers at University of Washington, Seattle develop a male contraceptive pill
Since time immemorial birth control has been a preserve for women, and for decades birth control pills have been a women only affair but as it seems even men could also chip in this feminine field. Researchers are now inching closer to discovering a contraceptive pill for men. And if this is ever going to become a reality, the next question is, are men really going to be receptive of the whole intent of a male pill. Men will soon have the options of a regular oral pill, a patch or gel to be applied to the skin, an injection given each three months or an implant put under the skin each 12 months as birth control methods. For the first time, safe, effective and reversible hormonal male contraceptives are expected in the market. The intent sounds great but will men accept to pop the pill?

Vaccination with Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine might not protect all individuals.
5.4 Limitations of Vaccine Effectiveness
Neurological disorders temporally associated with influenza vaccination, such as encephalopathy, optic neuritis/neuropathy, partial facial paralysis, and brachial plexus neuropathy, have been reported.
8.1 Pregnancy
Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or AFLURIA. It is also not known whether these vaccines can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction capacity. Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed.
8.3 Nursing Moms
Neither Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine nor AFLURIA has been evaluated in nursing mothers. It is not known whether Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or AFLURIA is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine is administered to a nursing woman.
8.4 Pediatric Use
Neither Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine nor AFLURIA has been evaluated in children. Safety and effectiveness in the pediatric population have not been established.

8.3 Nursing Mothers-It is not known whether FLUVIRIN or Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine is administered to a nursing woman
8.4 Pediatric UseSafety and effectiveness in pediatric subjects below the age of 4 years have not been established. [see ADVERSE REACTIONS (6) and CLINICAL STUDIES (14)]
